Tablelands

Tablelands means a highland formed by the compression of the North American and European continental plates. It is one of the few places on Earth where one can stroll through the mantle. The long crustal movement has squeezed the mantle out of the ground, leaving it ochre colored and barren, but there are still several resilient and adapted plants scattered in the mountains. One of them is the provincial flower purple bottle grass in Newfoundland and Labrador provinces. This is the only area on Earth that shares the same landforms as Mars. NASA in the United States also has its own research laboratory here. During the visit, there will be dedicated staff guiding you to understand the area and reach the best sightseeing platform....
