Castle Hill National Historical Site

Castle Hill National Historical Site is a stone fortress that stands on a picturesque seaside town. Established in 1662 in France to protect French fishermen and settled immigrants. Standing on the mountaintop of the castle overlooking the panoramic view of the town of Placentia, one can hear the fierce battle of the British and French army attacking and defending the castle. Now, the castle is only left with broken walls and is designated as a national historical site - Castle Hill National Historical Site.
