Petty Harbour
Petty Harbour–Maddox Cove is a town of approximately 960 people located on the eastern shore of the Avalon Peninsula in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The settlement of the small town can be traced back to the 16th century. It was the location of the first hydroelectric power station in Newfoundland and Labrador. Petty Harbour is an active fishing community where fishermen participate in cod and snow crab fisheries, and it is rapidly becoming a world-renowned tourist destination. The rolling green hills surround the town, and the blue sea extends in front of the town.
