Salmon Interpretation Centre on the Exploits River is the largest of its kind in North America, and to highlight this, the Centre is located at Windsor Falls Windsor in Newfoundland and Labrador. Located on the Exploits River in the 'Great Falls', the Centre exhibits the history, biology, ecology and habitat of Atlantic salmon. Visitors can see fat salmon swimming upstream to their spawning habitat through underwater windows, as well as cascading waterfalls and nesting seagulls. The highlight of the Centre is the low observation level, where you can enter the underwater river experience and get a closer look at the 'king fish' as they migrate upstream to their spawning habitat.
