In the afternoon, visit the scenic attractions of St. John's, the easternmost city in North America. This includes Cape Spear, the easternmost point in North America, where you can enjoy the vast Atlantic Ocean. Explore the oldest lighthouse, fortifications, and ammunition depot, as well as the weathered ruins of Signal Hill.

Visit the Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This reserve contains the world's oldest known large-scale fossils dating back to the Ediacaran Period, offering important insights into the evolution of life on Earth. Visitors can even touch fossils that are millions of years old.

Day 3:

Explore Signal Hill, the place where the world's first transatlantic wireless signal was received. It also offers a panoramic view of St. John's from a high vantage point. Then, visit Placentia and explore Castle Hill National Historic Site, learning about the fishing traditions of the Placentia Delta. Continue to Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve, the largest seabird nesting site in North America, with over 70,000 birds covering the island and its surrounding cliffs.

Day 4:

Visit the charming towns of Brigus and Cupids, experiencing the ambiance of the oldest British colonies. Then, hike the Skerwink Trail, rated as one of the top 35 hiking trails in the world by Travel and Leisure magazine, offering stunning views. Proceed to Bonavista, the second UNESCO Global Geopark, where John Cabot landed and discovered Newfoundland. Visit the lighthouse and explore Dungeon Provincial Park.
